Drum dryers

Drum dryers are used to dry grained, non-sticky, non-flammable and non-explosive materials such as limestone, ores, sand, slag and clay. Drum dryers are used in a wide range of industrial applications.

Drying agent flows through the dryer drum together with the material. The length of time that the dried material passes through the dryer can be regulated by altering the rotation of the dryer drum. The finest fractions of dried material carried by the moistened air flow are separated in the de-dusting device.

The dryer consists of a drum with a pulley seating, fittings, drive, inlet chamber, outlet chamber, outlet and inlet sealing.
