Rotary kilns
Rotary kilns have been a tradition at PSP Engineering since 1951. Since that time our company has supplied more than 200 rotary kilns to America, Europe, Asia and Africa for a wide range of industrial applications – the production of cement, lime, magnesite, and ceramsite, iron ore processing, and in the paper and chemical industries.
PSP Engineering supplies both two- and three-support rotary kilns. Supporting tyres of individual supports are seated on floating bases. A pair of radial rollers that transfer load from the rotary kiln to its foundations is positioned on each base.
Rotary kilns are driven by a single- or double-pinion drive via a gear rim. A hydraulic axial roller secures axial movement of the rotary kiln. Inlet and discharge sections are equipped with heat-resistant exchangeable segments. Both ends of the rotary kiln are fitted with seals to prevent ambient air entering the kiln line.
